Job Description
The Digital Web Analytics & Tagging team is a part of the Marketing Analytics and Technology organization at U.S. Bank and is responsible for managing digital data collection from beginning (goal of Application/Feature) to end (reporting of Application/Feature) to provide an accurate and trustworthy digital data foundation and data literacy. It is an enabling function supporting the Business Unit Marketing and Enterprise Analytics & Customer Experience teams (EACX) and thereby the Chief Product Officers/Line of Business, responsible for measuring, assessing and articulating the efficacy of our marketing strategies to help drive growth and/or efficiency opportunities across the bank.
U.S. Bank is looking for a Digital Marketing Tagging Manager to reside within the Digital Web Analytics & Tagging team. This person will be responsible for the implementation and testing of 1st and 3rd party tagging solutions for marketing campaigns, as well as data collection management and privacy governance across the marketing ecosystem.
Primary Responsibilities
Work with internal partners and agency partners on the tagging strategy and implementation of various marketing analytics tags within our tag management system.
Lead 3rd party marketing tagging requirements discussions between the agency(s) and the internal marketing teams plus testing and monitoring tag activity to ensure proper measurement and privacy compliance.
Support and maintain updating all media tag documentation and tracking tools as well as supporting the governance of tags across sites.
Work closely with Compliance and Risk Teams for tag approvals and auditing.
Liaison with Marketing Agency(s) and Tagging implementation team to ensure correct information flow between teams.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
Five to seven years of statistical and/or data analytics experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
Knowledge of tag management systems like Tealium, GTM, etc.
Experience reading JavaScript and understanding how 3rd party marketing and analytics are implemented on websites.
An understanding of media vendor tagging and procurement (3rd party tags).
Experience using OneTrust to support digital opt-out and consent management.
Experience with debugger tools (Preferred Chrome console, Alternatives: Charles, Chrome plugin debugger tools, etc.).
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience and understanding of Adobe Analytics & Workspace.
General understanding of marketing channels and tactics.
Experience with Microsoft Teams, Jira and/or Confluence.
Experience with Google Campaign Manager, DV360 & SA360 as it relates to tag development & deployment.
Tagging solution experience within an agency environment.
Knowledge of setting up ObservePoint audits.
Must have keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Must be an excellent, detailed communicator (verbal & written) who is able to disseminate information across a wide variety of expertise levels within external & internal groups.
Should have a project manager mentality and enjoy that type of work.
An inquisitive mind who likes to stay up-to-date on the latest trends as they relate to your industry and expertise.
Someone who is always looking for efficiencies and better, easier ways to achieve goals.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $105,400.00 - $124,000.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
