Your team

You’ll be working in the Finance, Risk and Analytics Service (FRAS) Technology team in Pune, India on the strategic redesign of our platforms on Azure Cloud. You will as part of the Common Service and Platforms team under the FRAS CTO organization alongside other talented women and men to bring the benefits of the latest technology to solve complex business problems in a sustainable and innovative ways. Your expertise

• 8+ years of very strong hands-on experience in test automation development using Selenium, Cucumber and Gherkin.
• must be proficient in Java / Python Programming language.
• should have basic Azure applications knowledge.
• very strong experience in creating automation frameworks from scratch
• robot Framework with SeleniumLibrary and SapGuiLibrary experience is an added advantage
• develop and execute maintainable automation tests for functional, non-functional and regression test cases
• investigate and debug test failures, updating tests or reporting bugs as necessary and provide test coverage analysis based on automation results
• strong knowledge of testing best practices and tools including JIRA and X-Ray plugin
• knowledge and experience of working in Agile delivery methodologies, TDD & BDD
• good to have knowledge on Load & Performance testing, JMeter, DevOPs, API
• passion for driving new ideas and standards, a team player who can collaborate well with developers, business analysts and other testers
• a strong communicator who can present technical ideas in an easy-to-understand fashion
• a self-starter who looks to take ownership of problems and see them to resolution
• able to step up and lead junior testers by helping them in routine work, troubleshooting and providing guidance on test coverage.
• leads the solution design, within the constraints of enterprise standards and enterprise architecture roadmap, to satisfy project requirements.
• reviews and analyses the solution requirements for clarity, completeness (functional, non-functional, quality of service aspects), and feasibility of execution
• produces the logical and physical design, including a deployment architecture that adheres to the UBS software engineering strategy and MERs
