Your role

Are you excited by working in an agile environment? We are looking for someone like that who can help with delivering critical technical changes in support of our Finance clients. The role includes:-

• accept technical challenges and deliver innovative technical solution within tight deadlines.
• learn new technology quickly, take ownership of assigned area of application
• estimate work, plan and manage technical deliverables.
• participate actively in technical design discussions and proof of concepts exercise

Your team

You’ll be working in the IB Subledger – Account Posting Crew in the Business Division Control Stream. As a software engineer, you will be part of the team that works in development and maintenance activities of applications built in Informatica, Oracle and UNIX systems. You'll also be working and engaging with other product owner, product managers, other software engineers, SRE and end-users at appropriate stages in project lifecycle.

Your expertise

• having 4+ year experience working on development and support of enterprise software in a distributed environment within the financial services industry
• hands-on development experience using informatica power center version 10.X
• must have - good experience on oracle advance concepts – partitioning/ indexing/performance tuning
• hands-on experience on oracle, sql, plsql
• knowledge of linux, shell scripting
• knowledge and experience on scheduler tools like autosys or control-m.
• familiarity with agile practices, gitlab, ci/cd
• strong analytical/problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technology
• strong communication and collaborating skills
