We’re looking for software engineers leaders to:
* provide technology solutions that will solve business problems and strengthen our position as digital leaders in financial services
* analyze business requirements for the Securities Operations in Investment Bank
* providing technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new software projects and initiatives to support and enhance our existing applications
* conduct code reviews and test software as needed, along with participating in application architecture and design and other phases of SDLC
* see that proper operational controls and procedures are implemented to process move from test to production
* guide a team towards successful delivery

Your team

You will be working in a global team, in the Corporate Actions & Income Processing Crew, as part of Group Technology division in Krakow. The system is used for supporting trade lifecycle in back office of our client’s Investment Bank. Members of this team work closely with Global Securities Management, as well as operations team from all business areas and business development analysts to provide global solutions for varied business requirements.

We provide challenging work in a friendly supportive team environment of software engineers. As a Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in building new generation post trade processing platform widely used across Investment Bank division, processing millions of business events a day happening across US / EMEA / APAC regions.

Your expertise

* Held similar java software engineer role, ideally for 7+ years within the finance sector
* 2+ years of experiance in Tech Lead or Team Lead role;
* Clean coding and refactoring skills with great problem solving ability;
* Hands-on experience with agile methodologies, especially SCRUM;
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, and the desire to work as part of a global team;
* Experiance with frameworks/Tools like Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Flink, Kafka, Azure;
* Assisting team members in resolving technical challenges and roadblocks;
* Mentoring and coaching team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment, Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback;
* Providing guidance and technical expertise to the development team, ensuring the use of best practices, and promoting the adoption of new technologies and frameworks.
* Ability to improve older code bases, as well as apply modern best practices to new projects;
