Your role

Are you ready to work in the second line-of-defence for an international service institution? Are you an experienced technology and cyber & risk SME looking for a new challenge? Do you have an IT risk control mindset and ready to build relationships and influence outcomes?
We're looking for Cyber and Technology Risk Controller to:

• Challenge our first line-of-defence’s risk-taking activities and risk assessments through working with GOTO Group Technology teams to review risks associated with cyber and technology and provide guidance on controls
• Ensure that information security and technology-related risks are understood, owned, managed, and properly reflected in Business Risk Appetite Statements and Risk and Control Self Assessments
• Provide review and challenge to our businesses on projects, new initiatives, business objectives, processes, risk events, incidents, controls, and/or monitoring
• Perform data analysis, deep dive investigations, controls testing, drive specific risk initiatives as required and in support of activities such as Thematic Reviews, Look Across & Dynamic Risk Assessments
• Understand and comply with key regulatory and external audit requirements and ensure appropriate treatment and attention is provided by Risk Owners

Your team

You will be working in our global C&ORC Technology Risk team, part of the 2nd line-of-defense, and be based in Poland reporting to the Lead Cyber and Tech Risk Controller for the Wealth Management, P&C and Global AM divisions.
We are a dynamic, driven, and diverse team of professionals with oversight responsibility for controlling Non-financial risks arising from activities carried out by Business Divisions and Group Functions to ensure these risks are managed to UBS’ risk appetite.

Your expertise

• Ability to take ownership of tasks and assignments end-to-end and understand, perform data analysis, and prioritize according to management and business requirements
• Be influential, possess high integrity, and able to work under pressure to tight deadlines
• Prior working experience, or knowledge, in Wealth Management, Global AM and its products and solutions (strongly preferred)
• Experience with financial service regulators and regulations (such as FINMA, BaFin, ECB, FED, OCC, SEC, FFIEC, PRA) (preferred)
