Your role

Are you passionate about delivering building robust and scalable Data protection product? Do you have a curious nature, always interested in how to innovate?

We are looking for a Software Engineer to:

• design, develop and test new user-facing features, maintain systems by identifying and correcting software defects, create technical specifications and unit test plans, build reusable code and libraries for future use
• optimize application for maximum speed and scalability, collaborate with other team members and stakeholders, build responsive web-based application
• work with QA to align understanding of requirements and to develop system test plans
• demonstrate a basic degree of creativity and problem-solving skills
• collaborate with UX resources to drive consistent look and feel of user interface
• collaborate with Ops resources to ensure issues are resolved correctly and in a timely fashion
• support applications using software development methodologies including structured programming, documentation and design

Your team

You will be working in the CIS DCP team which is a part of the Technology services. We provide security, compliancy advisory and data remediation as a service to UBS group to all business divisions and their respective IT departments and support the implementation of risk assessment methodologies.
We are a global team and are based out of Zurich, Singapore, UK, Poland and India.

Your expertise

• minimum 4 years of experience in all phases of software development including design, coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
• strong hands on experience of REACT JS, HTML & CSS, OOP, state management and data flow
• working knowledge of ASP.NET with CSS and JQuery, Restful Web Services. (WCF, Web API)
• experience in end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) project
• experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• good eye for details on UI and UX, requirements and estimation
• ability to adapt and respond in a rapidly evolving business environment
• good to have experience with Angular, MobX, SOA concepts
