We’re looking for a financial accountant and regulatory reporting analyst to:

• make sure the financial information and accounting for the Bank in Brazil is complete, accurate and auditable
• produce complex regulatory reports required by Brazilian Central Bank
• assist on the production and analysis of risk capital requirements (Basel III legislation)
• use appropriate controls throughout all financial accounting and reporting processes, to adhere to our accounting standards, also review, analyze and investigate variances, maintaining the general ledger
• support continuous improvement of efficiency and effectiveness, for example designing standardized calculation logics for IT automation
• cover daily, monthly and quarterly Brazilian Central Bank reporting
• provide reports to the internal management information to the business areas
• develop an understanding of the trading strategies employed in the front office

Your team

You’ll be working in the financial accounting team in Sao Paulo - Brazil, focused on supporting the business partnering through regulatory requirements and accounting knowledge. We're committed to work as trusted advisors, providing advice and being responsible for accounting, controlling and reporting.

Your expertise

• ideally 4-6 previous work experience as a financial accountant within the financial sector with regulatory reporting experience
• Accounting degree or equivalent in finance and economics
• advanced English is desirable
• excellent understanding of relevant regulations such as Brazilian Central Bank rules (e.g: Resolucao 4.966)
• knowledge and experience of the Basel III requirements and Operational Limit Document (DLO)
• highly proficient in Excel is necessary
• methodical and accurate team player with good analytical and numerical skills
• familiar with procedure documentation and/or process improvement and ability to deliver data analysis and financial
