Your role

You will be part of dynamic team, currently focusing on couple of key initiatives like building the new ReactJS based UI, integrating it with backend, key business functionality implementation and transforming application to be cloud ready.

• you will be actively contributing to transform the application to adopt the new UI tech stack with REST end point integration and implementation.
• own and deliver features end to end.
• implementation of new business requirements.
• active contribution in decision making process of new architecture pattern for application.
• situational connect with business stakeholders, to directly present the work done and take feedback on the same.

Your team

You will be part of the Logistics IT team within Finance, Risk and Data IT organization. Our software and tools are at the heart of UBS's Group Function where we provide bank-wide solutions to support the business processes in these functions. The team is global based in Switzerland, UK, EMEA, APAC and the US. Together with us you will work in a fast-paced environment that develops, implements, and maintains mission critical information systems to the -Business Intelligence community.

Your expertise

• ideally 5+ years of work experience in developing ReactJS based UI at enterprise level.
• experience of handling high volume of data on the UI and deployable bundle optimization.
• working experience of understanding UX designer’s requirement and converting it to concrete implementation by following industry wide patterns and layouts.
• custom component development in ReactJS both class based and functional components.
• expert in using libraries like redux, ag-grid.
• good knowledge of CSS & SCSS
• exposure to GIT & CI/CD pipeline concept.
• experience of Agile Methodology.
• good experience in JavaScript fundamentals and type script.

Desirable Experience:
• public cloud exposure like Azure, AWS.
• understanding of Java based web application development.
• concept of containerized application development and deployment
• good understanding of JSP, Servlet
