Your role
Are you a motivated self-starter? Do you have good numerical sense, understanding and knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements? We’re looking for someone like that to help us:
– with financial and tax reporting to regulators i.e. Daily Capital Adequacy, Liquidity Risk Management, statutory accounts to the Philippines Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Capital Markets Integrity Corporation (CMIC).
– manage regulatory ratio compliance including Capital Adequacy ratio, Liquidity Risk and Stress Testing etc., and work with the Operations, Business and Group Treasury for capital or funding requirements
– prepare and provide management information and internal reports to the local management committees/boards, stakeholders from Business, Group Treasury and regional treasury to facilitate their decision making and their performance and discharge of supervisory/governance roles
– prepare/review the Accounts Payable payments request and timely payments to regulators, vendors and staff.
– support new business initiatives, system and process changes, regulatory changes in the capacity of Financial Reporting Specialist

Your team
You’ll be working in the Finance Entity Controlling team in Philippines. We are the entity controller of the UBS Securities Philippines Inc and UBS Investments Philippines Inc.- responsible for entity controlling, regulatory reporting and ratio compliance. Our key clients include regulators (SEC, CMIC), local management, front offices, and Group Treasury. Our role is very key to ensure that the broking entity comply with all the reporting and ratio requirements, and timely, accurate and relevant financial information are provided to senior management to satisfy their governance obligations.
Your expertise
– an accounting qualification (Certified Public Accountant) is preferred
– at least 10-year experience in a similar/related role
– knowledge and understanding of local regulatory, tax rules and capital markets products
– methodical, concise and accurate, with strong attention to detail
– able to apply technical understanding to practical problems
– diligent and strive for excellence and initiative to improve/enhance processes and challenges
– willing to learn, team player and with good working attitude
– fluent in English
