Your role

Are you a strong relationship manager? A team player? A target driven individual? Do you know how to spread your enthusiasm about the UBS platform to clients? We're looking for someone like that to:

• help senior Sales manage the relationship with Greater China hedge funds and quant funds, and serve as a reference point for discussions around products and solutions
• help originate new leads of the business and assist in client pitch process from front to back
• build up network and better penetrate into junior to middle level members of Greater China hedge funds to enhance client partnership
• work seamlessly with other sales and trading functions across Global Markets and identify cross-selling opportunities for complimentary businesses
• increase our revenue to new clients and growing profitable balances from existing clients
• follow regulations, compliance policies, desk policies, limits and guidelines

Your team

You’ll be working in the Global Markets Financing Services sales team in Hong Kong. Our role is to offer a complete suite of front-to-back one stop solutions to support the needs and requirements of the clients in a variety of delivery mechanisms. We help our clients identify and access the investments that match their specific objectives.

Your expertise

• preferably 2-3 years’ experiences in the Hedge Fund industry, ideally working in Prime Brokerage as junior salesperson or any client-facing functions with hedge fund client exposures
• passionate about the client experience, with strong interpersonal skills (you have the human touch)
• commercial in your approach to clients
• a strong team player, able to collaborate across the platform and achieve goals
• a self-starter, able to find solutions independently and get things done in an efficient manner
• outwardly confident and able to work well under pressure
• Native or proficiently fluent in Mandarin as you are required to cover clients in China, combined with the ability to converse and correspond in English
