The role will focus on safeguarding UBS’ digital assets (e.g., tokenized assets, digital currencies and custody) by monitoring the cybersecurity threats and risks landscape, ensuring compliance with Cyber & Information Security and Technology Risk Management policies and staying abreast of regulatory developments. The individual will act as a strategic advisor to the CISO, overseeing and continuously enhancing the firm’s cybersecurity posture and maturity level within the digital assets space.
We’re looking for a Digital Assets Lead to:
• Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and frameworks, including guidelines and procedures, for effective governance of digital assets
• Provide expert oversight of cyber risk management activities, including risk identification, assessment and mitigation
• Monitor risk levels and ensure appropriate controls and measures are in place to address identified risks
• Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and regulatory developments related to digital assets
• Develop and maintain risk reporting mechanisms to provide senior management and the board with timely and accurate information on cyber risks
• Drive the promotion of cyber security awareness across the bank
• Collaborate with senior leadership and business units to promote secure adoption of digital assets initiatives
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at a senior level

You’ll be working in the Emerging Tech Cyber Risk team - part of UBS’s Cyber Intelligence Center –
where you’ll become a strategic advisor within CISO, help navigate the evolving threat landscape and make an impact by continuously enhancing our cybersecurity posture.
Your expertise
Your experience and skills
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, with 3 or more years of experience in the digital assets space
• Proven experience in developing or implementing digital assets cybersecurity strategies and frameworks
• Collaborate with senior leadership and business units to promote secure adoption of digital assets initiatives
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at a senior level
• Strong understanding of distributed ledger technology, blockchain, tokenized assets and custody, as well as their associated IT and cybersecurity risks
• Good understanding of the current digital assets regulation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in risk management and cybersecurity tools and methodologies
