Your role

An outstanding opportunity to join us in this role exposed to complex financial products and Private Equity and Real Estate funds. Scope of the team is still being built, thus you will be requested to take the initiative in process efficiencies and Team projects - not to forget the business trips to Luxembourg office premises.

We are a combination of Operations and NAV production, thus we are looking for a Fund Accounting Specialist to:

• Cover full transaction life cycle (counterparty and investment setups; payment order receipt and instruction; transaction double entry bookkeeping; open internal and external queries; settlement monitoring).
• Perform or review monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual cash and position reconciliation for Private Equity and Real Estate funds,
• Perform or review monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual NAV’s calculations for Private Equity and Real Estate funds with all applicable control points,
• Control quality of work performed by other accountants and processing activities as per deliverables checklist with focus on timelines and accuracy.
• Make sure the financial information and accounting for multiple Swiss and Luxembourgish funds is complete, accurate and auditable.
• Actively co-operate with various internal (Transfer Agent, Depositary, Fee Management, Client Service Management) and external parties (Clients, Fund Managers, Vendors, Service Providers, Auditors).
• Actively support Manager and Team with further business growth and transition, while implementing proactive solutions and addressing any concerns.
• Update of operational procedures and checklists for new processes and funds and ensure high quality of outputs.
• Deliver high quality of outputs and answer client requests with a timely manner and excellent service.

Asset Servicing offers a unique opportunity in taking part in our strategic business growth initiative. We are heavily investing in our organization in Poland, while significantly transforming our business. The foreseeable future will be eventful, as we are planning to upgrade our platform, grow substantially in terms of assets under administration as well as by the client base.
Several functions in Wroclaw and Krakow, such as Fund Accounting, Alternative Investments, Valuations, Investment Guidelines Monitoring, Transfer Agency and Project Management will be further developed over the next years. As a member of the team, you’ll play an important role in delivering relevant outputs for our clients. We are dedicated to support one another and our business partners. You will work within international environment and collaborate with our colleagues in Luxembourg, Switzerland and Ireland on a daily basis. We are looking for a colleague who shares our passion and high standards.

Your expertise

• Proven experience in Transaction Operations and/or Fund Accounting / Fund Administration functions (minimum 3 years)
• Proven experience of Fund Accounting/ Transaction Operations process supervision and validation (minimum 3 years)
• Proven experience in daily BAU supervision and controls (minimum 2 years)
• Detailed understanding of financial market instruments, Fund Accounting and the NAV calculation life cycle (Private Equity and Real Estate, PAFA funds knowledge will be an asset)
• Proven understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and fund accruals management
• Dedication to BAU efficiency improvement via internal projects. Happy to take initiative and be proactive in general – your attitude is what matters to us!
• Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills and commitment to maintaining a strong control environment.
• Excel skills at advanced level or higher would be an asset.
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in English. German language will be an asset.
• Ability to manage work under high time pressure.
