Your role
As part of the Private Credit Operations team, you will be working in the UBS Asset Management Operations, Accounting and Control division in New York. This team is responsible for oversight across all financial reporting and operations functions for UBS AM’s private credit strategy.
This person will assist in all aspects of Portfolio Finance and Treasury middle office operations supporting UBS’ growing private credit business.
Detailed salary information:
New York: the salary range for this role is $100,000 to $120,000

• oversee borrowing base calculations and reporting for multiple lenders, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• coordinate and manage borrowing and repayment activities, ensuring efficient and timely execution.
• support the centralization and streamlining of Liquidity and Treasury functions within the credit business.
• optimize the utilization of debt and cash across various funds.
• partner with investment teams to proactively assess portfolio changes and manage their impact.
• prepare detailed reporting and perform ad-hoc analyses on fund liquidity, leverage, and investment capacity.
• collaborate with investment teams to facilitate portfolio activity and improve financing strategies.
• work with internal accounting and fund administrators to ensure accurate bookings and provide relevant back-up documentation.
• lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance the private deal workflow and improve operational efficiencies.
• help coordinate and manage various lender and custodian relationships, fostering strong partnerships.

Your expertise
• bachelor’s degree is accounting, finance, or quantitative field.
• experience within a buy-side asset manager.
• prior experience with Alternative Assets, Fixed Income, or Leveraged Loans preferred.
• proficiency in reading and interpreting legal fund structure documents to extract relevant information.
• strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and resolve complex problems.
• advanced proficiency in Excel, with expertise as a "power user" (e.g., complex formulas, macros, data modeling).
• exceptional attention to detail is paramount to ensure accuracy and precision.
• knowledge of Python, SQL, VBA or C# is a plus
