Your role

Are you an analytical thinker? Enjoy a quantitative approach to problem solving? Have a strong interest in fixed income markets and ready to help us re-imagine investing?

We are looking for a US Structured Credit product specialist to join our Treasury Investment & Execution US team to:

• contribute to the team’s portfolio management activities, optimize our investments along multi-dimensions to generate sustainable revenues, while considering risk factors and financial resources consumption
• proactively track market developments to form views on relative value and generate trade ideas
• execute our investment themes across a wide range of fixed income investment products in US domestic and global markets, with a focus on US Structured Credit products
• perform ongoing portfolio surveillance and quantitative scenario analysis to identify trading opportunities and risks in the portfolios
• help to proactively build our footprint in ESG investments and adhering to and developing our ESG Investment Framework
• manage a broad range of risks, including but not limited to market and credit risks, execution risk, operational risk and compliance risk
• assist in driving regional and global strategic initiatives.

Your team

You will be working in the Treasury - Investment & Execution US team, based in New York. We are a small market driven investment team, responsible for managing the Bank portfolios for the US entities. You will collaborate with the broader Investment & Execution team who is active globally, across a breadth of products, currencies and instruments, offering substantial learning and growth opportunities. We as a team are also committed to improving our ESG impact through our ESG Investment Framework which you will be contributing to. The team operates in a performance-oriented environment, whilst promoting a good work-life balance and flexible working arrangements.

Your expertise

• genuine interest and understanding of the fixed income markets, structured credit products, in particular Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs)
• previous work experience as portfolio manager, trader, quant or research at a buy or sell-side firm
• a good understanding of Banks’ Regulatory landscape, especially in the area of liquidity, funding, capital and accounting standards is a plus
• strong analytical and communication skills
• fluency with data analysis using Bloomberg, Intex and other data providers. Python skills preferred
• highly proactive self-starting working style
• proven success working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
