We are seeking a highly qualified Employee with 0-3 years of broker dealer corporate actions experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Processing US/EMEA/APAC corporate actions across equities and fixed income products. This role requires you to have a deep understanding of corporate actions, such as tender offer, exchange offer, rights offerings, and other similar events.
Responsibilities:
Support the event management and processing of positions held by proprietary traders(Equity and FI), Prime Brokerage/SWAP clients, and stock lending positions within the Equity and FI business, performing front to back processing comprising of notification, data capture, instructions, bookings, and risk reporting/controls.
Liaise with various operations groups, IT and business representatives on both regional and global levels.

Your team
You will be based within the US Corporate Actions team. The US team cover the voluntary aspect of the corporate event lifecycle across both equities and fixed income mostly for US securities. You will be responsible for processing of voluntary corporate actions through event announcement set up to deadline processing. Day to day you will be dealing with internal stakeholders such as trading desks, client service teams and middle office representatives as well as prime brokerage clients, market counterparties and agent banks. The Corporate action specialist can also act as a direct contact and problem solver for clients and business partners.
Your expertise
Qualifications:
0-3 years of broker dealer corporate actions experience at an investment bank is required.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
Previous supervisory experience in a bonus
A strong risk mindset with the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with voluntary corporate actions.
A creative mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and the use of new technologies.
Highly organized and results-oriented with the ability to manage competing priorities.
A strong attitude towards collaboration and the ability to challenge and drive process change.
Ability to analyze complex events to identify potential risks and take necessary actions to mitigate such risks.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple deadlines per day.
Familiarity with operational mechanics involved in processing voluntary corporate actions, including but not limited to handling stockholder responses, instructing custodians, and tracking of deadlines.
Experience with DTC Corporate Action processing functions including PTOP, PSOP and DWAC and broker dealer operations
Familiarity with securities products such as equities, fixed income, prime brokerage, and stock lending.
Experience in working with the relevant stakeholders such as clients, internal business units, and external parties to facilitate the processing of voluntary corporate actions in a timely and efficient manner.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with Swifts and election process with Non US Agents and Depositories
Familiarity with new business intelligence tools and automation opportunities.
Overall, the ideal candidate for this position should possess a strong risk mindset, a creative approach to problem-solving, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate processing of voluntary corporate actions while migrating potential risks.
