We’re looking for an Associate Director, IT Software Engineer to:

• Manage products to design computer applications.
• Analyze the functional and non-functional requirements of new and existing applications.
• Analyze the data available in files/databases and design new systems or carry out improvements for the existing system.
• Design interfaces for multiple applications to work as an integrated system.
• Assess the existing software products or applications and use them in the PMR environment.
• Create project planning including effort estimation for new projects and enhancements.
• Create a sprint plan to capture tasks in JIRA, assign JIRA tasks to various team members, and track the status of JIRA tasks assigned to the team.
• Perform capacity planning and identify and assign resources to all projects.
• Coordinate with other stakeholders including business, QA, and application teams.
• Address the defects raised by the QA team and make sure they are resolved within the SLA.
• Record all identified errors/reported issues in defect logs before fixing issues.
• Identify and address risks or gaps that could delay project delivery timelines.
• Perform integration testing in QA and UAT lanes and make sure the systems are operational and working with integration.
• Prepare an implementation plan and follow the process and checks defined by the organization for implementation.
• Create the system architecture design and maintenance documents.
• Guide the team with technical and functional knowledge.
• Identify and remedy the technical and operational risks in the system.
• Use various technologies to build efficient and scalable applications for the firm.
• Develop new modules and perform unit testing and code analysis to review all code before deploying them to QA.
• Perform Unit testing, create a test plan, and test cases for future use.

Education & Experience Requirement
• This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as a Technology Specialist, Technical Lead, Senior Software Engineer, Project Engineer, or a related occupation.

Position requires experience with:
• GitLab-facilitated software delivery;
• z/OS programming in COBOL, DB2, CICS and SQL;
• UNIX;
• Autosys;
• Toad;
• Putty;
• JIRA;
• COBOL;
• JCL;
• Java; and
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
