Your role

You will:
• Strategize, conceptualize and design new products and features across multiple product teams
• Conduct user research and synthesize complex business and user needs into tangible design solutions, bringing a product concept to life quickly
• Plan and facilitate workshops along the design process to align the product vision and gather all needed requirements of the product: e.g. journey mapping, design sprints, storyboarding or other design thinking methods
• Build prototypes to communicate interaction details and broader journeys that can also be used to test and validate with users
• Feel equally comfortable sketching and wireframing a design solution as well as making UI and data visualizations beautiful and compelling
• Contribute interaction design patterns and components to our Design System and be an advocate for consistency and re-use across all digital products

Your team

You will join a newly formed, agile delivery team within Core Platforms Engineering where you’ll be key to improving the overall developer experience in the organization. You will have the chance to collaborate closely with business stakeholders, engineers and data scientists working in cross-functional teams, as well as helping us build a creative and customer-led culture.

Your expertise

You have:
• experience designing user-centered products and enterprise applications
• a strong portfolio and a user-centered design process that you can present and articulate clearly
• experience conducting detailed user research and working closely with users and stakeholders to gather requirements
• excellent communication skills and the ability to explain the rationale behind your design concepts
• demonstrable strategic thinking on client projects and experience running workshops and design sprints
• experience with agile methodologies and integrating design with product delivery teams
• an obsessive attention-to-detail in everything you do, from storytelling and clarity of communication through to detailed wireframes
• knowledge and experience using tools such as Sketch, Figma, InVision
• experience designing products for developers and engineers is a plus
