Group Data Management Office (GDMO) is looking for a Data Management Analyst to :

• learn data management concepts such as Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Quality, Data Taxonomies etc.
• understand, document, and optimize how business divisions and functions across our bank govern critical data in line with our firm’s data management framework
• analyze complex datasets and identify patterns and observations
• understand business requirements and partner with SMEs, Product Owners to advise solutions
• establish strong working relationships with Business and Technology managers across UBS

Your team

The Group Data Management Office (GDMO) is responsible for embedding a data management culture into our organization by advocating for our strategy and proactively challenging the way our firm works with data. The GDMO is part of GOTO Operations & COO and is made up of approximately 300 people based in multiple locations globally. Your role will be based in our Raleigh, NC office.

Your expertise

• a bachelor’s degree or higher with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• advanced level experience with MS Office (excel, PowerPoint, word)
• excellent analytical ability, proven ability to learn and to adapt rapidly, ability to grasp business concepts and apply technology for business advantage and a proven ability to excel in a high-pressure team environment
• strong communications and interpersonal skills
• ability to work collaboratively as part of a team with a hard-work ethic and a passion for learning
• analytical skills and a data driven mindset with the ability to grasp abstract concepts and simplify
• ability to manage a dynamic and complex portfolio of work
