Your role
We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Fund Accountant to join our dynamic and experienced team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen attention to detail and extensive experience in fund accounting. You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting.
• support the NAV production of liquid and alternative funds.
• ensure timely delivery of fund reporting to the clients.
• reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage fund operations.
• assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
• monitor and report on fund performance metrics.
• support audits by providing necessary documentation and insights.
• assist the department with ongoing projects and support other accounting and reporting related tasks.
• follow-up with clients and service providers regarding any issues raised until resolution.
• year-end closings (control and review of accounts, closing of accounts) and fund events (merger, liquidation, and similar events).

Your team
You will be working in the Fund Accounting department in Luxembourg. We produce and distribute NAV reports and we oversee the fund corporate events. We are connected and collaborate with other locations and departments.
Our key objective is to deliver excellent client reporting services with continuous improvement on process efficiency and risk control.
Your expertise
• bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, or similar field
• minimum 7 years of experience in fund accounting or a similar role
• an understanding of Lux GAAP, IFRS and accounting principles
• detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• highly motivated, able to work independently and apply own initiative.
• fluency in English is mandatory; French, German or other languages are advantageous.
