Your team
You’ll be working in the Collateral Management Americas team. We're responsible for the service delivery of collateral and margin management in the Americas region, with the purpose of covering UBS' exposure which could have the potential for counterparty default.
Role-specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Issuing and processing margin calls and excess to clients.
Booking of Collateral in our internal systems.
Ensuring client accounts are properly funded per regulatory requirements.
Supporting our key internal clients (i.e. Client Hub Group, Risk, Compliance, IT, Settlements, etc).
System testing of new cleared products and enhanced margining methodologies.
Identifying and resolving breaks so that client accounts are realizing the proper credits and debits.
Ensuring that accounts are accurately funded.
Participating and running adhoc client queries and various Transformation projects and initiatives.
Cross training with colleagues to get a comprehensive understanding of the processes executed by the team, being able to switch tasks when required.
Complete understanding of the control framework as it relates to the business we support and the operation we run, a commitment to diligence, effective escalation and timely resolution of all control issues arising during the course of our process execution.

Be able to work on projects – individually or as part of a team – that deliver those benefits. The candidate needs to understand the requirement to execute increasingly more dynamically and actively contribute to that goal.
Your expertise
The right candidate must be very detail oriented, focused, and able to work under pressure. The candidate will work well within the global team, be organized and able to multi-task.
Knowledge of MS Excel (including macro operation and/or creation), Word and Outlook are necessary to perform this function. Training on various proprietary tools used to perform this role will be provided.
