Your role

We are looking for someone who can support our Trade Finance Teams in Poland in the following areas:

Collections & Guarantees Team:
• processing Guarantees and Documentary Collections (issuance, amendments, cancellations and commissioning)
• ensuring reconciliations of transactions on a regular basis
• timely execution and proper monitoring of transactions
• applying the relevant transaction due diligence rules in order to avoid reputational and financial risks
• working hand in hand with your Swiss colleagues to manage the lifecycle of the guarantees and documentary collections
• Logistical support of the Trade Finance Teams (receiving and scanning of documents, responsible for daily postage/courier tracking and sending)

Letter of Credit Team:
• processing letters of credit (issuances, amendments, document checking and payments)
• timely execution and proper monitoring of transactions
• applying the relevant transaction due diligence/compliance rules in order to avoid reputational and financial risks
• Understand the risks associated with your business and function
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and statutory requirements and with internal polices and contracts.
• working hand in hand with your Swiss colleagues to manage the lifecycle of the Letter of Credit
• Logistical support of the Trade Finance Teams (receiving and scanning of documents, responsible for daily postage/courier tracking and sending)

Your team

You’ll be working in the Trade Finance Team in Wroclaw and supporting the Trade Finance units in Switzerland (locations in Zurich, Geneva and Lugano). Your key objective will be the handling of Letter of Credit transactions, Guarantees and Documentary Collections for internationally operating clients. This includes collaborating closely with Trade Finance colleagues in Switzerland and other internal partners as well as external clients.

Your expertise

We are looking for candidates:
• Able to think creatively, flexibly, and logically to solve problems
• Fluent in English (additional language skills German, French or Italian is a plus)
• Detail oriented and able to work effectively under time pressure
• Solid user knowledge of MS Office applications
• Knowledge of import/export documentation or experience with Trade Finance products and services (bank or import/export/forwarding industry is a plus
• Plan, organize and communicate well
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Interested in building your career in an international business environment
• Strong analytical skills
