Your role

Are you a master of transactions? Do you know how to take care of clients? Are you keen at being at pulse of capital markets? We’re looking for someone like that who can:
• Hedge fund event scrubbing , process payment transactions, and perform other tasks related to control and reconciliation.
• Monitor and process pending recon items, perform reconciliation and clear pending breaks.
• Perform investigations and ensure to address the client queries within agreed deadlines.
• Increase efficiencies by utilizing technology and contribute for process improvement ideas
• Understand risks and apply this knowledge to risk metrics.
• Ensure the events have been set up and paid as per agreed timelines

Your team

You’ll be working in the Hedge fund section in Pune. We are responsible for the correct and timely processing of hedge events set up and payment transactions. This includes cash and stock payments such as rebates, liquidation, and hedge fund products. As a strong member of the team, you will work closely within the integrated value chain and our global / international interfaces.

Your expertise

• A degree in business and commerce
• Experience in financial services
• Relevant experience in securities products, ideally in corporate actions and hedge fund processing
• Command of Microsoft excel / power point / word / outlook
• Macro/automation/robotics experiences
• Risk awareness; understand when to escalate and involve superiors
• Eager to take ownership and responsibilities for assigned tasks
• Capability to work in a fast-paced high growth environment
• Change management / automation experience
• Drive ideas/proposals/tasks/actions for closure
• Can exercise a great deal of initiative, forward strategic thinking, and independent judgment
• Totally focused on client service and timely execution of task orders
• Motivated, self-directed, and driven (always staying up to date and improving)
