We're looking for Asset Servicing Specialist (EE/AO) to:

• process corporate actions for our Wealth Management clients (individuals and corporate clients) such as income processing as well as tax filing for Tokutei accounts as well as Investment Bank Operations clients.
• work closely with the traders, sales, tax, legal, compliance departments to make sure that we deliver the excellent service to the clients as well as comply with the regulations, guidelines, standards and policies

• work as a team, detail-oriented and multi-tasking
• improve existing process by using RPA / other new technologies
• work on the upcoming digitalization project

• proactively support team members and liaise with team manager effectively for escalation

Your team

You'll be working in Corporate Action and Income Processing team in Tokyo. We cover the retail clients' asset servicing activities for UBS SuMi TRUST Wealth Management and UBS Securities Japan Co., Ltd.

Your expertise

• able to think creatively, flexibly and think logically to solve problems
• interested in digitalization and have an affinity with technology
• preferably 2+ years securities transaction settlements, custody service experience or related function
• preferably knowledge in various financial products and related lifecycle events
• good communication skill with front/back office to resolve problems and discuss future opportunities
• have good understanding of managing risk and ownership for strengthening control for BAU procedures
• Bachelors/Masters degree or equivalent
• Strong written and verbal communication in Japanese and English
