• Responsible for the build, oversight, coordination, and management of the Deposit Operations team as they perform general operations functions including deposits, fulfillment, account maintenance, statements, taxes, decedents, Court Order processing and other tasks included in the bank’s core systems in compliance with all established policies and procedures
• Initially responsible for partnering with key Technology and Product partners to define the needs of the Deposit Operations functions and to help design and test the implementation of a toolset to assist with those functions
• Design and document operational process in line with the built capabilities to ensure clients' needs are supported
• In line with both actual activity and forecasted growth models build capacity plans and resource models, to effectively support activity in the most cost-efficient manner.
• Oversee and support physical mail processing as it relates to returned mail, certified checks, and formal documentation (eg death certifications, etc).
• Communicate to all key stakeholders throughout Change the Bank (CTB) and Run the Bank (RTB) milestones, status updates, potential risk issues and escalating as appropriately

Your expertise
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience required
• 8+ years of Banking operations experience
• Self-motivated individual with lean, innovative thought leadership methodologies to drive ongoing enhancements
• Demonstration of keen analytical/problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Robust communication skills: written, verbal, visual presentations, and effective listening skills
• Ability to be cross-fungible and multi-task under pressure
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Supporting vendor governance and relationship support
