Your role

Are you an expert at understanding data classification, data protection risk assessments, data compliance, data privacy & regulations, data detection & data remediation? Are you an expert in driving data compliance and establishing controls to avoid non-compliances?

We’re looking for someone who is experienced in-

• design, maintain and utilize a robust and auditable data compliance process
• identify non-compliant situations and recognize patterns of non-compliant placements and recommend controls to prevent further non - compliances
• pick up results of our existing data detection capabilities and analyze for remediation
• collaborate with senior data owners to drive an efficient compliance process
• collaborate with the product team to ensure the changes and requirements from data owners are placed into the tool
• working with the DCT tool to ingest all the requirements post reviews and collaborating the changes on Governance with senior stakeholders
• working with various divisional representatives, legal and COOs of different countries to consolidate all the data sharing requirements

Your team

You’ll be working in the Data Confidentiality and Protection (DCP) department under the CISO team in Pune. We provide data governance, regulations governance quality, compliance, and cyber risk mitigation efforts. As a data compliance and data protection analyst you will play an important role in data remediation projects, conduct business analysis, and collaborate across teams to ensure data protection and regulatory compliance

Your expertise

• good understanding of ISO 27001 controls and data privacy & protection and have an overall 8+ years of experience
• at least 7 years of experience in either data protection, data compliance areas, security regulations or has had hands experience with 27001 controls
• has 4 -5 years’ experience working with senior stakeholders
• able to explain the data compliance requirements to end users.
• well acquainted with regulations and repercussions of non-compliance.
• able to analyze issues with the requirements and can showcase gaps to the stakeholders and the product teams.
• experienced in change management and project management
• able to communicate in fluent English
