Your role
Are you passionate about helping an organization address employee workplace issues fairly and consistently? Do you believe that HR has a role to play in proactively preventing issues from arising through clear policy, education and awareness?
Are you an expert in providing employee relations (ER) advice and solutions to colleagues, and have experience in managing a team?
Under your leadership, you and your team will :
• Manage disciplinary processes, including conducting investigations and making recommendations regarding disciplinary action
• Investigate employee related concerns and complaints related to workplace issues including allegations of discrimination, harassment and bullying
• Advise on employee relations impact related to organizational change, reductions in workforce, acquisitions and divestitures
• Develop, implement and maintain HR tools that help us handle workplace issues well
• Produce and deliver training to employees, line managers and HR colleagues on prevention of employee relations issues
• Support the development and governance of local policies and procedures
In addition, you will:
• Monitor and be accountable for the effective handling of cases by the team
• Act as a point of escalation for ER matters in Poland, personally managing some of the more sensitive or complex cases
• Take proactive measures to mitigate risk related to employee relations matters
• Work with your ER team colleagues, your team and other stakeholders to look for ways to continually improve our services and processes

Your team
Reporting to the Regional Head of Employee Relations Switzerland & EMEA, you will lead a team of ER specialists based in Poland, covering a population of almost 9,000 in Poland and supporting other European Countries.
Your expertise
• Law degree and/or strong knowledge of Polish Labour Law and significant experience in advising on and handling difficult employee relations matters
• Strong leadership capability with proven track record in managing, developing and motivating a high performing team
• Strong influencing skills capable of managing relationships across all levels of the organization including senior management
• Experience in designing and managing processes for handling employee relations matters expediently while maintaining a high standard of quality
• Proven effectiveness in leading projects at a local/regional level, collaborating with colleagues from other regions to move forward the function’s strategic priorities
• An ability to look at the big picture, suggest and drive change to proactively and positively support the culture of the Bank
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and strong attention to detail
• Fluency in Polish and English essential, any additional European languages are welcome
• Proven ability to remain calm under pressure, and supervising others in managing competing priorities
• Strong organization and time management skills (must be able to manage numerous ER cases simultaneously)
