Your role

Are you a motivated self-starter with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail? Can you operate with moderate supervision and contribute effectively? We’re looking for a financial reporting specialist to join our team:

• take responsibility for local regulatory reporting production and automation; support ad hoc analysis and analytical review
• ensure ledger integrity and manage financial operations tasks; support the monthly financial close and head office daily deliverables
• assist in preparing materials for audits and annual financial statements
• prepare and provide management information and internal reports to local management committees and stakeholders to facilitate decision-making and supervisory/governance roles
• support new business initiatives, system and process changes, and regulatory changes in the capacity of a Financial Reporting Specialist

Your team

You’ll be part of the Finance Entity Controlling team in UBS Securities, based in Taipei. Our focus is on financial reporting for regulatory and statutory purposes. We play a key role in ensuring compliance with reporting requirements and local regulations, as well as fulfilling entity controlling requirements from a UBS group perspective.

Your expertise

• accounting qualification (Certified Public Accountant) or a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a focus on accounting
• ideally, 3 or more years of experience in Taiwan Securities firms or other financial industry
• knowledge and understanding of local regulatory, tax rules, and Securities businesses
• senior Securities Specialist license (證券商高級業務員) is preferred, but not mandatory
• detail-oriented, precise, and accurate
• fast learner, team player, and possess a positive working attitude
• diligent, striving for excellence, and proactive in improving processes and addressing challenges
• ability to apply technical understanding to solve problems and drive improvement projects
• interest or proficiency in using AI and Microsoft Power Platform tools in your work
• strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin
