Your role
Do you have a strong track record of delivering efficiencies within a business management role? Are you able to balance business demands and Operational Risk initiatives to drive the business forward? Do you thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment? We're looking for someone like that who can:
• Act as a partner to the EMEA ETD Execution Business, supporting the development and implementation of the ETD Execution Business Strategy
• Participate in key strategic and regulatory change initiatives on behalf of the EMEA ETD Execution Business
• Analyse and solve technical issues related to the ETD Execution business, driving solutions and remediation
• Strengthen the operational resiliency of the EMEA ETD Execution Business by promoting digitalization, encouraging collaboration and cultivating an innovative mindset that challenges the status quo
• Work closely with the wider ETD COO team within EMEA and across the APAC and AMER regions to drive profitability and cost discipline for the ETD desks as well as aligned global solutions
• Coordinate with supporting units (incl. Operations, Legal, Compliance & Operation Risk, Finance, Group Internal Audit and other stakeholders) to maintain a robust front-to-back control environment and act as a ETD Execution representative in key governance forums as relevant to the business/region

Your team
You’ll be based in London, reporting to the EMEA ETD COO team lead. As part of the IB COO Function, your team is responsible for a broad portfolio of activities requiring collaboration across the organization. Your responsibilities will include enabling business strategy, ensuring front to back control environment integrity, supporting regulatory compliance, and minimizing operational risk across the ETD Execution business, amongst others.
Your expertise
You have:
• Strong technical skills, including the capability to pick up and utilise new technical tools quickly
• Strong communication (oral and written), presentation and interpersonal skills in order to liaise with members of the organization at all levels, including front office and COO stakeholders
• A keen eye for detail in order to spot deficiencies and identify improvements, including business enablement
• The ability to efficiently multi-task across a broad range of topics
You are:
• Able to demonstrate the ability to deliver against milestones on a timely basis and to a high standard without outside intervention
• Able to network and influence across multiple teams to deliver strategic change and key business objectives
• Comfortable working independently, as well as in a collaborative environment
• Able to balance the importance of a medium/long term portfolio against the urgency of day to day demands
• A natural risk manager with a strategic mindset able to effectively articulate risk management to senior internal and external stakeholders
