Are you passionate about digital innovation and artificial intelligence (AI)? Do you envision a future where AI transforms banking experiences? We’re seeking a UX researcher to shape the future of digital banking. This job connects it all via UX research and the deduction of insights based on empirical data.
We are looking for a new colleague to cover the following work portfolio:
• continuous facilitation of qualitative and quantitative user-centric studies to deliver insights on the behavior, pain points, and user needs of our clients.
• translate findings into research-driven recommendations.
• preparation and presentation of research reports for the design team, product owners, and other company-wide stakeholders to determine the best course of action.
• facilitation of workshops, e.g. design sprints, with interdisciplinary teams (business, legal, IT) to find the best solutions for our clients.
• propagation of insights and best practice across the company, empowerment & coaching of team members.
• facilitate engaging presentations with senior management, highlighting AI-driven findings and strategic recommendations to drive forward-thinking digital initiatives.

You will be a member of a highly motivated team of UX specialists inside the Experience Design Center of Excellence at UBS. Together with your fellow teammates, you work in an agile environment on sustainable benefits of digital solutions at UBS. You will be tasked with important strategic initiatives around the continued evolution of our digital channels to create company-wide impact.
Your expertise
• University degree (master's degree preferred) in Human-Centered Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or other related fields in the Humanities.
• a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in UX research, experience design, and/or innovation management.
• a diverse skillset that covers qualitative and quantitative methods. Still, you are highly motivated to broaden your horizon and pick up new research skills. Research is your passion.
• understanding of various research methods, their strengths and limitations, and when and how to apply them across product development phases.
• experience researching advanced technologies, such as artificial intelligence or conversational user interfaces.
• proficiency in English; additional proficiencies in German, French, and Italian are an advantage.
