Your role

We are looking for somebody to play a critical role in supporting the execution of a large-scale digital transformation program. As a Deposits Process Specialist, you will:
• lead design and document complex end to end process flows related to bank Checking and Savings accounts, to enable effective build of product solutions in partnership with the digital and technology teams
• partner with teams involved in the value chain to understand most effective processes with appropriate controls; present front-to-back process flow maps and dependencies to relevant stakeholders including the Field, Digital and technology teams, Finance, Treasury and Risk and Control teams and Sr. Management for agreement prior to build
• ensure buildout of effective risk management framework and process for all builds, leveraging existing frameworks in the broker dealer including policies, procedures and controls, where applicable
• document and create governance material including policies and procedures for checking/savings and money movement process flows clearly outlining roles and responsibilities and creating controls to ensure effective execution, with associated project related deliverables such as project plan, business requirement documents and UAT test strategy documents
• partner with all build teams to ensure all items in the end-to-end process flow are scoped and addressed and where possible automated prior to any product launch
• leverage existing knowledge of account and money movement process and systems and be the subject matter expert with a detailed understanding of inter relationships, existing friction, regulatory and risk requirements, field and client experience needs and operational processes for effective design and execution
• use data driven insights and analytics to enhance existing process and build efficient new processes for wealth management clients, contributing to the data sourcing strategy, including data governance requirements and platform strategy for money movement and control functions within the broader banking platform
• represent the deposits business as the process SME for build the bank initiatives and actively participate in designing and build out of solutions across the project lifecycle, including analysis, requirements gathering, testing, implementation and managing rollouts to clients and the field; focus on internal channels and client facing channels
• partner with internal technology and business partners (Legal, Compliance, Marketing, Risk, etc.) on key deliverables, regulatory items and products and service enhancements
• be a key contributor to strategic initiatives and part of a team that works on business growth development initiatives

Your team

As part of the Deposits team, you will be a member of a small cohesive group that drives GWM Banking Americas deposits strategy and leads end-to-end buildout of solutions for UBS Bank USA (BUSA) Checking and Savings accounts in partnership with digital and technology teams. You will play a critical role in developing retail banking solutions for clients of WM USA.

Your expertise

• a university degree, MBA and/or ideally 10 years of experience including 5+ years of retail banking focused on wealth client banking services, savings & deposits products
• subject matter expertise in wealth management products, particularly bank deposits and checking and savings accounts
• understanding and experience with building out money movement including linkages between bank and broker dealer
• commercial Banking, or Private Banking knowledge, as well as relevant product knowledge and experience in a Bank preferred
• proven track record operating in a regulated bank and brokerage environment, preferably providing banking services to HNW/UHNW clients
• excellent understanding of financials and trade-offs related to incentives
• prepared communications of internal and external sales and marketing materials related to banking
• Series 7 is a plus
