We’re looking for a driven professional to join UBS Bank USA and support our efforts ensuring our business continuity, operational resilience and resolution practices are consistent with regulatory and industry standards. The ideal candidate has experience with governance, risk management, project management, operational risk and is a strong collaborator. The BC&OR Specialist will have day to day responsibilities to maintain our framework, procedures, governance and controls. Key responsibilities include:
• coordinate and maintain the Bank’s comprehensive Business Continuity Planning Program, which at a minimum meets regulatory standards to ensure the Bank’s ability to recover and restore services in the event of an unforeseen disruption to facilities, technology systems, application, or business processes.
• assist the business and functional units in the maintenance of their BCPs, including documenting their BIA (Business Impact Analysis) and Risk Assessments, and gathering recovery requirements for critical, time-sensitive functions.
• coordinating BCP exercises with Product Owners, IT partners, and Third Party Risk Management
• provide inputs into governance presentations and evidence documentation
• ensure compliance with Operational Risk regulations and guidelines
• support the BC&OR framework and governance and meeting the regulatory minimum requirements for business continuity, operational resilience and resolution planning.

You will be part of the Global Wealth Management Americas Banking Chief Administrative Office; we are responsible for the front-to-bank (F2B) controls supporting the UBS Bank USA organization by working in close partnership with support functions, including Finance, Risk, Treasury, Operations, Human Resources, Compliance, Legal and Audit.
Your expertise
• ideally 3 years of experience in financial services, with business continuity planning / operational resilience or operational risk management experience a plus
• excellence mindset with experience in implementing governance frameworks and driving continuous improvement
• ability to research, assess, control and manage a variety or risks
• project management skills: plans, organizes, motivates, and controls resources to achieve project objectives while accounting for constraints
• decision making skills: objectively considers input from appropriate sources; Considers implications of actions on other areas, functions, and processes during decision making
• bachelor’s degree in a business or IT field
