Your role

• work closely with different Global Markets Japan functions (Sales, Structuring), products (fixed income, FX & derivatives) and regions.
• co-work with various front to back functions to instigate change initiatives that will drive the business forward
• work with Japan Global Markets senior management across functions to develop, analyze and deliver business-enabling initiatives
• work on cost reduction, process simplification/automation/offshoring, and risk mitigation
• attend to local regulatory demands
• work on projects and initiatives that support the business

Your team

The Investment Bank Chief Operating Office (IB COO) shapes the future direction of our investment banking business. Through tackling challenges, you'll be part of a Japan GM BM team reporting to the Distribution COO Japan oversees the day-to-day operating models and processes. You'll get to contribute meaningfully to Global Markets business growth and projects, while getting to grips with our infrastructure and processes.

Your expertise

You need to have the skills to
• plan, organize and multi tasks different projects
• analyze a problem, take a view, and come to a decision
• act with patience/tolerance to bring tasks to completion
• communicate and work well with teams
• leverage technology skills to improve processes
• have native level Japanese and business level English
• 1-3 years working experience in Front Office, Operations, Finance/ Product Control, Technology or Consulting preferred
