Your role

Are you someone who is passionate about hedge funds? Are you an analytical thinker who delivers high quality solutions for clients?

We are looking for someone like that to:
• assist in managing client relationships across our commingled and customized offerings for a diversified investor base, which includes institutional and UHNW clients, as well as wholesale clients
• prepare monthly performance reporting and portfolio deliverables, as well as customized content for clients, including ad-hoc portfolio analysis, research content, investment data requests and performance commentary
• work across our investment, middle and back office teams as part of our monthly investment process
• develop cross-divisional internal relationships, primarily with wealth management and asset management partners
• coordinate and prepare materials for interactions with existing clients and prospect meetings

This area of the business, Unified Global Alternatives Hedge Funds, is the premiere hedge fund solution provider with global presence and 25+ years of experience in sourcing, monitoring, and managing portfolios of hedge fund investments.

You will join our Portfolio Management/Investment Specialist capability in Tokyo and work closely with our global colleagues to support client activities. Their focus is on delivering tailored solutions and analysis for clients' portfolios of hedge funds, as well as overseeing our business development initiatives.

Your expertise

• ideally 5+ years of experience in asset management or capital markets; having experience in hedge funds or funds of hedge funds is ideal, but not a must
• proactive self-starter who has a keen eye for the details
• collaborative personality, with the ability to complete tasks independently
• excellent communicator with high standards for client service
• native in Japanese and fluent in English to support local client base
• BA/BS from a competitive university
