Your role

Do you have experience in Financial Crime Prevention, Compliance risks or in performing second-line-of-defence activities? Are you analytical and passionate about non-financial risk management rules and regulations?
Would you like to join the Central FCP EMEA Controls Poland team at UBS Europe SE?

We are looking for an FCP Analyst who:
• acts as a non-financial risk controller by performing second-line-of-(2LoD) defence manual controls covering for various taxonomies: KYC, AML, Trade Surveillance, Market Conduct, Cross Border etc. – all in accordance with global standards;
• executes controls covering specific regulatory requirements applicable for UBS Europe SE locations;
• takes responsibility of Fraud Transaction monitoring in close alignment with the Financial Crime Prevention Function;
• contributes to the continuous enhancement of our monitoring programs and processes within the UBS Europe SE community;
• develops and maintains relationships with various UBS Europe SE and UBS Group stakeholders, in particular within the Financial Crime Prevention and Compliance functions
• executes 2LoD duties including Governance and Reporting responsibilities for UBS Europe SE
• performs Key Performance Indicator (KPI) assessment of UBS ESE risk portfolio

You will be working in the Central FCP EMEA Controls team at UBS Europe SE
The team is responsible for the 2LoD monitoring and surveillance activities, to supplement the supervisory controls performed by the business and other independent control functions.

Your expertise

You have:
• bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance, economics or law;
• proven experience in the financial industry within risk or compliance will be an asset;
• strong analytical skills and being keen on laws and regulations;
• good communication skills with excellent command of English and Italian (spoken and written);
• confidence to challenge the status quo and demonstrate strong risk awareness;
• ability to quickly gain knowledge on assigned processes and act as subject matter expert;
• strong MS-Office skills and digital attitude;
You are:
• well organised and able to prioritise urgent and important tasks as well as well as able to work independently;
• team player with ability to build good working relationships with multiple stakeholders and to work as a collaborative and proactive member of a team;
