UBS SECURITIES LLC is seeking an Associate Director, Trader in New York, NY.

We’re looking for an Associate Director, Trader to:
• Use computer models to analyze, simulate and price complex financial transactions.
• Use proprietary models to price derivatives for clients on a regular basis and ensure compliance of trading activities with appropriate regulations.
• Build advanced excel spreadsheets and computer programs to facilitate pricing, risk managing and trade life cycle monitoring for a wide variety of complex financial derivatives contracts on assets across equities, fixed income, foreign exchange and commodities. Interact with various systems to trade and manage risk for a portfolio of exotic and path dependent derivatives.
• Use complex systems and employ programing skills to code payoffs, improve risk management tools and program customized scenario analysis for the positions and exposures in the book. Generate trade ideas for clients and distribution teams.
• Work with institutional business clients including hedge funds, pension funds, insurance companies, retail intermediaries, and private banks. Work with Technology teams to design and implement pricing and risk management tools.

Your expertise
This position requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computational Finance, Mathematics, or a related field of study and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or as a Research Analyst, Quantitative Research Associate, or a related occupation.
The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computational Finance, Mathematics, or a related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as a Research Analyst, Quantitative Research Associate, or a related occupation.
Position requires experience with the following:
• Building advanced excel spreadsheets and computer programs using Visual Basic, Options theory, Financial Engineering,
• Object-Oriented Python Framework, Regression Analysis, Monte Carlo Methods,
• Machine Learning, time series analysis,
• FINRA Series 63 license
• FINRA Series 7 license.

Salary information
US Only: The expected salary range for this role is $200,000 to $225,000 based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level. Please see «Your role» section for detailed salary information.
