Your role

• Analyze revenue streams and cost structures across business divisions, identifying trends and risks and evaluate them strategically.
• Assess the impact of macroeconomic conditions (e.g., interest rate movements, inflation, credit cycles) on bank performance.
• Leverage your corporate finance know-how to model how changes in revenue, expenses, and business strategies affect profitability and efficiency metrics (e.g., Economic Profit, Return on Equity, Cost-Income Ratio etc.)
• Evaluate impacts on capital structure, dividends and buybacks under strategic scenarios and/or regulatory constraints.
• Provide strategic insights and planning recommendations based on financial analysis and market scenarios using company financials, KPIs, capital strategy and valuation.

Your team

You will be working as part of UBS Group’s Financial Planning Analytics & Reporting team and will be in Navi Mumbai. We own and steer the Group’s strategic business plan and provide sophisticated analytics to senior management to take strategic decisions.

Your expertise

• Candidates with exposure to fundamental analysis, valuation, cost of equity, capital allocation and business strategy will have an added advantage.
• Pursuing MBA in finance or strategy ( Progress towards CFA or equivalent will have an added advantage)
• Understanding of financial modeling and capital structure analysis
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills to clearly articulate sophisticated concepts, ideas, and processes
• Strong analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills
• Excellent technical skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel
