UBS Business Solutions US LLC is seeking an Associate Director, Architect in Morrisville, NC.

We’re looking for an Associate Director, Architect to:

• Design and develop deployment plans for software releases and upgrades using DevOps tools. Evaluate vendor products from an architectural view.
• Perform engineering DevOps of the e-communications surveillance global platform along with global platform management.
• Plan for the global rollout of the application, including data migration and decommission of end of life. Define, coordinate, and support the required end-to-end project activities, including process changes, testing, training, communication, and transition to business as usual activities.
• Maintain the software architect document for the global platform.
• Perform configuration changes and conduct performance tuning and testing of BigData clusters. Can work hybrid (In-office/remote).

Your expertise

Education & Experience Requirement

• This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as a Solutions Architect, Senior Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or related occupation.

Alternate Education & Experience Requirement

• The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as a Solutions Architect, Senior Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or related occupation in lieu of a Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience.

Position requires experience with the following:

• BigData Architecture, microservices based architecture,
• Helm, Docker, Git, Odyssey,
• Azure DevOps, Terraform, Apache Airflow, HBase, Spark,
• software deployments, security, and performance tuning
• distributed file systems and storage technologies.
