Your role
Do you possess knowledge of Swiss domiciled traditional investment products and the entire value chain of funds, including legal, risk, investment, and operational aspects? Have you supported product development initiatives from A to Z? Do you want to help us develop new strategic products for our clients?
We’re looking for a Product Specialist to:
• help develop Swiss domiciled funds for UBS AM (traditional asset classes only) based on client requirements and perform required product feasibility assessments
• support senior product specialists front-to-back in the set-up of new funds as well as fund lifecycle events (repositioning, merger, new share classes, liquidation etc.) with all involved stakeholders
• plan, initiate and coordinate all changes of prospectuses and other fund documents triggered by new fund projects, lifecycle activities and regulatory initiatives for Swiss domiciled funds
• become a subject matter expert with the objective to lead and support special regulatory and product related projects
• assume general product management tasks (e.g. data maintenance, regulatory changes, fund shelf review, process design and review).

Your team
You’ll be working in the Product Structuring Switzerland team in Zurich. We are a small team responsible for developing and managing Swiss domiciled funds across traditional asset classes. As a Product Specialist, you'll interact closely with all stakeholders along the fund value chain to support product development and product lifecycle management.
Your expertise
• ideally 1-3 years' financial sector experience with a focus on investment funds domiciled in Switzerland; knowledge of investment foundations is a plus
• knowledge of the value chain in the context of Portfolio Management, Fund Management, Fund Administration and Regulatory Requirements; sound investment know-how (e.g. CFA) is a plus
• apprenticeship in a bank with relevant work experience or bachelor’s degree with a focus on business administration, banking and finance, economics or related field
• initial experience in managing cross functional projects
• proactive self-starter who has a keen eye for the details
• collaborative personality, with the ability to complete tasks independently
• excellent communicator with high standards for client service
• fluent German (minimum C1 level) and advanced English to support our local client base.
