Your role

Are you an expert in assessing value and market trends? Do you have a knack for transforming large data sets into comprehensive reports? Are you good at storytelling based on market insights?
We’re looking for a research analyst to:

• perform fundamental analysis on stocks, including business trend research, financial modeling, valuation view, and scenario/sensitivity analysis
•conduct research via meetings and conference calls with companies, sell-side analysts, expert networks to synthesize a risk/reward-driven view of individual stocks
•follow data releases and reports from industry data consultants to monitor trend changes
•monitoring news and other sources of public information to be informed of latest industry and company fundamentals
•active participation in the daily morning meeting to provide any useful insights on the China L/S portfolio as well as the markets in general

Your expertise

• buy side or sell side research analyst with ideally 3-7 years of experience
• bachelor’s/master’s degree. Ideally can have both finance and engineering education background;
• proficient MS Office skills and, ideally, Tableau knowledge
• critical thinker, self-starter, with a keen focus on the details
• collaborative personality, with the ability to complete tasks independently
• adept at articulating analytical views on and off paper, in a concise and confident manner
• fluent in Mandarin and English to support local client base
