UBS Business Solutions US LLC is seeking an Associate Director, Engineer in Weehawken, NJ.

We’re looking for an Associate Director, Engineer to:

• Design, develop and implement the Azure applications for faster data processing.
• Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture, design and development of high performing next-generation Data Science and Big Data analytics framework.
• Work with technology components including on-premises, cloud computing, and data processing engines.
• Be responsible for development of data science models and programming.
• Work with business and tech executives, data scientists, data owners, and data stewards to create insights for all internal and external stake holders.
• Develop data pipelines for sourcing data from a variety of data sources, processing, transforming, enriching, and storing them in different ways to increase data processing efficiency, speed, and availability.
• Extract data from a variety of relational databases.
• Manipulate and explore data using quantitative, statistical, and visualization tools.
• Review and determine the daily consumption of data to finalize the cluster size and perform performance tests with huge sizes of data to finalize the designed architecture.

Salary & Work Schedule: $175,000 to $180,000 Per Year, 40 hrs/wk. This notice is being posted in connection with an application for permanent Alien Labor Certification. Your expertise

This position requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as a Data Scientist, Technology Manager, Senior Programmer Analyst, or a related occupation.

The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in a Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as a Data Scientist, Technology Manager, Senior Programmer Analyst, or a related occupation.

Position requires experience with the following:

• Programming/Languages including Python, PySpark, and Shell Scripting
• Natural Language Processes
• Machine Learning and Deep Learning including MLOps, Linear/Logistic Regression, KNN, Decision Tree, XGBoost, LSTM, RNN, ANN, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and BERT
• Cloud Computing and Hybrid Cloud including, Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory
• Python Libraries including Pytorch, and Tensorflow
• Big Data Distributed Computing Tools including Cloudera (CDH, CDP), Hadoop, MapReduce, Spark-SQL, Hive, Spark, and Sqoop, GitLab, PL/SQL database.

Salary information
