UBS Securities LLC is seeking a Director, Quantitative Analyst in Nashville, TN.

We’re looking for a Director, Quantitative Analyst to:

• Investigate and develop valuation and risk management models used by the structured credit business for derivatives, structured notes, and structured financing transactions.
• Develop pricing and trading tools for usage by trading, structuring, and sales.
• Day-to-day support of trading, structuring, sales, and back-office functions with the usage of quantitative models.
• Assist with expansion of structured credit business for various hybrid products which include interest rates, FX, and credit components.
• Collaborate with trading and control functions from the initial proposal of valuation methodology until the booking of trades in UBS production environment.
• Develop tools for the automation of the trade generation and testing process and enhance complex Monte Carlo frameworks and libraries.

Education & Experience Requirement

• This position requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience in Credit Quantitative Strategies, or a related occupation.

Position requires experience with the following:

• Structured credit products and models for both Developed Markets and Emerging Markets, with the emphasis on Credit, Rates and FX
• Advanced mathematics including stochastic calculus, Monte Carlo algorithms and Partial Differential Equations
• Statistical analysis and optimization; object oriented programming (including C++); Python programming
• Quantitative research in derivative pricing; library development on Windows and Linux; Latex and Excel VBA
• Can work remotely
