We’re looking for a Tech Risk Specialist to lead a team responsible for:
• performing risk assessments and reviews and report view of aggregate and residual risk and escalate as needed
• work in a cross functional team in order to improve products and advise, challenge, and monitor risks and controls to keep within risk appetite or product thresholds
• support management of issues during their lifecycle and update and embed controls in key processes, e.g., SDLC
• develop and maintain knowledge about important and relevant technical tools and frameworks (e.g., Azure Fundamentals, Information Security, Cyber Fundamentals)
• understand, represent, and advocate for client needs related to risk and interact with internal and external audits and regulators and other risk managers
• stay up to date on developments relevant to risk and manage internal control instance library

• Weehawken: the salary range for this role is $207500 to $282500

Your team
You’ll be working in the GOTO Americas Office and WMA Technology Risk Center of Excellence (COE) team in Weehawken focusing on technology risk for the GOTO WMA portfolio and risks cross GOTO impacting the Americas.
Your expertise
• ideally 10-20 years of experience working as a Tech Risk Specialist or in a role which required the above expertise
• demonstrated track record in risk control, risk management or compliance within financial services
• excellent knowledge of risk management and regulatory control frameworks
• solid analytical and reporting skills and data-driven thinking
• organized and focused, with the ability to work accurately under pressure
• skilled communicator who adapts style to audience and conveys clear, accurate and concise information
