Your role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Requirement Engineer to join our dynamic team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting the requirements for various projects, ensuring that they align with business goals and are clearly communicated to the development team.

The Requirement Engineer will work closely with stakeholders, project managers, and developers to ensure that the final product meets the specified requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Requirement Gathering - Engage with stakeholders to collect, understand, and analyze business needs and requirements.
• Documentation - Prepare detailed and clear requirement specifications, user stories, use cases, process flows, and other related documentation.
• Stakeholder Management - Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to ensure requirements are well-understood and feasible.
• Requirement Analysis - Perform gap analysis, feasibility studies, and impact assessments to validate requirements and propose solutions.
• Requirement Validation - Work with stakeholders to validate the documented requirements, ensuring they meet the business needs and are achievable within the project constraints.
• Change Management - Manage and document changes to requirements, ensuring that all modifications are communicated and agreed upon by stakeholders.
• Collaboration - Facilitate communication between the business and technical teams to ensure a common understanding of requirements.
• Quality Assurance - Assist in the creation of test plans and scenarios to verify that the developed solutions meet the requirements.
• Tools Utilization - Utilize requirement management tools and software to track and manage requirement documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:
• bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• proven experience as a Requirement Engineer, Business Analyst, or a similar role, preferably in software development or IT projects
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• proficient in requirement management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, IBM Rational DOORS)
• ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation
• understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall

Your team

You will be working in a young, dynamic team based in Pune, and closely with the Product Owner for Cash, Securities, CLS products under KeyLink. In your role you will collaborate with senior SMEs, Client Service Teams, and different Business Stakeholders globally with the immediate challenge of defining and collaborating.

Our role is to provide cutting edge e-Banking services to our professional wholesale clients globally. The application is currently in a phase of renewal and your skills are vital to the strategic direction and success of the future platform. The application is used globally both internally and externally 24/7 with an approximate throughput of USD 600bn per month.

Your expertise

• knowledge of modeling tools and techniques (e.g., UML, BPMN).
• certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Requirements Engineering certification (IREB), or similar are a plus. Personal Attributes:
• attention to detail and strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• strong time management and multitasking abilities
