Your role

We're looking for someone who can:
• Manage the Cash, Custody and Lending Product shelf across HK & SG, on product shelf maintenance, risk management, pricing framework, sales activities, process enhancement etc..
• Partner with various stakeholders e.g. Treasury APAC, Finance APAC and GWM Balance Sheet team to manage interest rate curve and run initiatives to maximize net interest income, optimize the bank’s balance sheet and capital.
• Drive new projects and new product development initiatives partnering with Global Lending distribution team, Sales Management, Market Heads and Client Advisors to support business growth plans.
• Be proactive and vocal with enhancement ideas and support on process simplification and automation
• Stay abreast of the competitive landscape and industry trends, and undertake regular competitor analysis in order to ensure all our products are competitively positioned
• Manage the risk and control aspects of Cash, Custody and Lending products to ensure compliance to regulatory and internal standards.

Your team

In the award-winning UBS Wealth Management Division, Global Lending provides our Client Advisors with high quality, competitive banking product solutions. We are responsible for the distribution of lending products as well as the creation and product management of all banking products (including deposits, money market instruments, Lombard Loans and Mortgages) and work closely with our distribution teams and other key functions on leading projects from all stages of the product lifecycle: concept development, implementation, management as well as closure.

You will be working within our product management team in SG and HK but this role has a global aspect and you are expected to work effectively with colleagues from across Switzerland, London, Taiwan and Japan.

Your expertise

• At least 2 -5 years' experience, preferably in a banking, financial services or consultancy environment as a product or project manager/analyst.
• Good understanding of loan and money market products in the international/ domestic private banking and/ or corporate banking market.
• Proven analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to communicate with colleagues at various levels of seniority, able to adapt and network across a global organization and to present well to stakeholders. Be willing to help colleagues across the firm
• Strong project management skills with expertise in change management in a large organization and having the ability to effectively multi-task and manage deadlines.
• Demonstrating a strong risk culture, know when to escalate for management attention
