We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Application Architect with a strong background in Java, Azure, and on-premises solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise applications. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud and on-premises architectures, microservices, and API-based integration.


• Solution Architecture & Design:
• Architect and design enterprise-grade solutions leveraging Java, Azure services, and on-premises infrastructure.
• Demonstrate knowledge of architecture patterns (e.g., layered, event-driven, CQRS), code-level patterns (e.g., factory, strategy, decorator), and data patterns (e.g., data mesh, event sourcing, medallion architecture).
• Develop scalable, resilient, and secure API-based integration solutions for internal and external applications.
• Apply domain-driven design (DDD) and microservices architecture to design robust solutions.
• Define Azure Integration Services strategy using Azure API Management, Service Bus, Logic Apps, Event Grid, Function Apps, and Data Factory.
• Must be hands-on with Java and capable of designing high-throughput, low-latency systems.

You’ll work as part of the Channels and Content agile crew which is one of the crews in the Managing Clients Stream.

We design and create external touch points for our clients as well as managing applications to support the flow of client information, price data and the client lifecycle and lead generation. Our goal is to leverage technology and digital intelligence to enrich our client relationships. We are the interface our clients see and
deliver personalized and role specific content & efficient and seamless client services at all touchpoints 24/7 via client preferred channels.

You’ll be joining us in Asset Management Technology, a wider, truly diverse of around 1,200 people from all over the world.

Your expertise

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in software development, including 4-5 years in an architect role.
• Proven experience in architecting and building large-scale enterprise applications using Java, Azure, and on-premises solutions.
• Strong knowledge of cloud concepts, patterns, practices, and technologies, preferably hands-on experience with various Azure services ,
containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and API-based integration.
• Experience with database technologies such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation frameworks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
