The Operations function has strategic and operational oversight within Wealth Management Americas. To succeed our people must:

Collaborate effectively across functions and regions, fostering a culture of transparency, innovation, and continuous learning.

Proactively identify and drive process improvements, risk mitigation, and operational efficiencies to deliver an exceptional product with optimal client experience.

Drive sustainable profits and be commercially cost aware.

We’re looking for an Executive Director to:

Lead, coach, and develop senior managers and large teams, promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Collaborate with Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Front Office partners to deliver on business objectives across multiple functions.

Oversee the implementation of new products, regulatory changes, and strategic projects impacting several departments.

Monitor and report on key performance indicators for all supervised departments, proactively identifying and addressing areas for improvement.

Your team

You will be part of the senior leadership team within Operations in Mumbai. As a member of this team, you will be managing 4-10 of the following departments (but not all) and supervising over 75 employees:

Corporate Actions Income Processing

Clearance & Settlement

Securities Trade Processing / WM Markets

Account Transfers

Mutual Funds

Alternative Investments

Insurance Operations

Retirement Operations

Tax Reporting

Cost Basis Recon & Service Works

Margin & Lending

Client Cash Management & Disbursements

Investment Advisory Operations

Advisory Controls

Billing

Note: The specific departments under your supervision will be determined based on location, business needs, and your expertise.

Our teams work closely with colleagues regionally and across the globe to ensure the highest standards of supervision, service, and operational risk management.

Your expertise

Demonstrated experience managing large teams and complex operational processes.

Strong knowledge of three or more of the previously mentioned Operations departments.

Understanding of risk management and regulatory requirements in financial service

Fluency in English is essential. Demonstrates strong stakeholder management skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and solve problems across all organizational levels.

Proven ability to drive process improvements and manage change in a fast-paced environment.

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant professional certification preferred.

Minimum 15 years of experience in financial services operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing multiple departments.

Fluency in English is essential.
