UBS Business Solutions US LLC is seeking an Associate Director, Tech Support Specialist in Morrisville, NC

We’re looking for an Associate Director, Tech Support Specialist to:
• Analyze data processing incidents to develop and implement solutions to complex applications problems.
• Ensure workflows, processes, tooling, and applications meet the highest production quality standards.
• Triage with required stakeholders, including support groups, vendors, and third-party suppliers to ensure stability and availability of our firm’s suite of applications.
• Contribute domain knowledge and expertise and technical knowledge and expertise to the management of existing and/or new computer systems and services.
• Prioritize incidents based on impact and urgency.
• Define workarounds for known errors and initiate process improvements.
• Assist with planning, patching, and other IT infrastructure related projects.
• Contribute to automating manual processes.
• Support problem management to identify root causes and ensure issues don’t reoccur.
• Participate in application telemetry and automation initiatives to achieve service excellence.
• Can work hybrid (In-office/remote).

Your expertise

Education & Experience Requirement

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Applied Computer Science, Technology, or a related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years of experience as an Application Developer, Computer Consultant, or a related occupation.

Position requires experience with the following:

• Incident and Problem Management practices; Tracking, recording, and implementing automation solutions for daily front-to-back processes; ServiceNow; Kafka; Microsoft Azure; Hadoop; Spark;
• ETL tools including Informatica; Troubleshooting applications coded in Java and Python; Apache Tomcat; Big data platforms including Cloudera; Linux and Unix; Scheduling; Autosys; Cosmos; Sybase; DB2; Postgres; Oracle databases.
