We’re looking for a Chapter Lead to:
Lead and manage a team of engineers within the Agentic AI Pod, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
Provide technology solutions that solve complex business problems and strengthen our position as digital leaders in financial services.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to define and refine requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Oversee the design, development, and delivery of sustainable AI-driven solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks.
Ensure adherence to UBS’s SDLC standards, including code reviews, testing, and operational controls for production readiness.
Act as a technical mentor, guiding the team in best practices for software development, architecture, and AI/ML integration.
Drive the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to enhance the team’s capabilities and deliver measurable business value.

Your team
You’ll be working in the Agentic AI Pod, part of the IB Digital Operations Stream, based in Hyderabad. Our team focuses on leveraging AI and advanced analytics to transform operational processes and deliver exceptional client experiences. As a Chapter Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of AI-driven solutions at UBS, while fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture.
Your expertise
Proven experience as a software engineer or developer, with a focus on AI/ML solutions within the finance sector.
Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or other relevant languages, with experience in Agentic AI frameworks (e.g., Langchain, LangGraph).
Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technical teams, fostering growth and collaboration.
Expertise in applying SDLC standards, including secure coding practices, code reviews, and operational readiness.
Experience in designing and delivering scalable, enterprise-grade solutions in a large-scale environment.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure) and DevOps practices is a plus.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
