Your team

You’ll be working in the Global Wealth Management team in Wroclaw office in WWS Team. We provide innovative digital solutions and this benefits our UBS internal employees and Business Units. As a Software Engineer, you’ll play an important role in building a new digital platform for our Organization.

In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous pods. This is a great opportunity to be a part of cross skilled team (s) and you will have endless opportunities to learn and grow in the organization.

Your expertise

• BS in computer science or engineering degree or a related field or equivalent work experience is a must have.
• Experience in Requirement Analysis, Strategic Analysis, Software Development Fundamentals, Design, Development, Maintenance, Testing and Implementation of efficient data flow and batch processes in applications.
• Experience in TSQL (MSSQL/SYBASE must have ) code development, performance tuning, query optimization and extensive batch or ETL creation experience with better error handling.
• Excellent understanding of databases, cloud-based framework like MS Azure and scripting knowledge with Python.
• Experience in Python scripting and SQL programming.
•Strong knowledge of Extraction Transformation and Loading (ETL) processes using PYTHON scripts and cloud frameworks like Azure Data Factory or Databricks or Synapse.
•Establishing the cloud connectivity between different system like ADLS ,ADF, Synapse, Databricks, Axway etc.
•Hands on experience in Azure cloud services like Azure Data Factory or Azure Synapse , MSSQL Db, Azure SQL DB, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Blob Storage etc.
• Worked on to create end to end pipeline to load data by reading from multiple source and load to landing layer or SQL tables.
