Your role

We’re looking for an AI Engineer to:

• assist in designing and implementing AI capabilities (models, assistants, and agents) for Finance under guidance.
• support the development of predictive models for tasks such as anomaly detection, clustering, classification, variance analysis, and forecasting.
• help build assistants and agents for contextual commentary generation and driver analysis in Finance.
• contribute to the development of scalable AI solutions within a multi-agentic architecture.
• collaborate with a global team of AI scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders.
• participate in agile development processes and learn to deliver solutions in a collaborative environment.
• take on tasks that help translate business requirements into intelligent solutions, with mentorship and support.

Your team

In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous pods. You’ll be working in the Agentic AI Crew in Pune under the Data & AI Stream, playing a key role in implementation of ampliFi. ampliFi is one of the AI big rocks in UBS to deliver an AI first modernized platform and ledger infrastructure for Finance.

Your expertise

• some hands-on experience or academic exposure to AI/ML model development and deployment.
• intermediate proficiency in Python programming for AI and data workflows.
• familiarity with Machine Learning, Generative AI, and Agentic AI concepts.
• exposure to AI Ops, MLOps, or pipeline design is a plus.
• awareness of libraries such as openai, langchain, scikitlearn, keras/tensorflow.
• understanding of SQL, Spark, or Databricks ML for data processing and analytics is a plus.
• foundations in cloud engineering for AI, especially Azure AI Foundry and Cognitive Services.
• good analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn.
• enthusiasm for embedding AI into business processes and delivering measurable outcomes.
• curiosity to explore new technologies and practices, and openness to feedback.
• effective communicator, able to contribute to presentations and technical writing.
• self-motivated, detail-oriented, and ready to grow with the team.
